About this project…
The client sought to enlarge their outdoor entertainment space, specifically requesting a large concrete patio with a partially covered area. It was important that natural light penetrated the covered space, and a fireplace with a centrally located television was desired for ambiance. Furthermore, the design needed to incorporate extensive lighting and airflow to accommodate warm summer weather.

What we did…
The old concrete patio and rear roof were removed. The concrete patio was considerably enlarged, receiving stamped detailing and an antiqued finish for an old-world aesthetic. To enhance spaciousness, the new roof was vaulted and a stone-wrapped, real wood-burning fireplace was installed. Recessed lighting and a ceiling fan completed the addition.
